It was nice to hear from Jason Odd who manages the RAD DOLL CLUB and Classic California Venues: https://www.facebook.com/pages/RAG-DOLL-CLUB-And-Classic-California-Venues/275297239213562. We, Stark Naked and the Car Thieves considered the Doll our home club when we were in southern California. Much of the storyline of the book runs through that club and it’s nice to browse the great collection of pictures from before it was a rock club. It has a long and vibrant history.

Through the 1940s and 1950s the Rag Doll was a Jazz and swing dance joint, known as the Rag Doll Cafe (early 1950s) and the Rag Doll Supper Club (mid-1950s).
